Special elections for 2 congressional seats (Illinois and California): register now!

Voters from the 14th congressional district in Illinois and the 12th congressional district in California need to be sure they’re registered to take part in special elections on:

·          March 8 to fill the seat of Representative Dennis Hastert (14-IL)

·          April 8 to fill the seat of the late Representative Tom Lantos (12-CA).

If  you have already requested a ballot for the presidential primary from your state, you don't need to do anything, but will automatically receive the ballot for the special election. If you have not registered, go to the Overseas Vote Foundation web site (https://www.overseasvotefoundation.org/overseas/home.htm) , fill out the form and send it in to your state right away. IL must receive ballot requests by February 26!
