FAWCO Youth

Alright, day two. You will be happy to know that weather was certainly nicer. Yesterday's snow, sleet, and over all demonic weather front was replaced by sunshine and a balmy 29 degrees (Fahrenheit that is).

As for the Youth Assembly, it picked up where yesterday left off. It started with a beautiful introductory song by a Japanese singer whose name unfortunately...

Well, after the crisis that was New York weather this morning, I finally made it to the UN for my first day at the UN Youth Assembly. FAWCO's Youth Program is proud to promote the ERGLW leadership development program for 9th and 10th grade girls: "empowering girls to be principled and socially conscious global leaders." The program will have two sessions in July 2014. The deadline for applications is March 21. See the Eleanor Roosevelt Center website for more information and to apply.
