Sponsored by the American Women's Club of Dublin. The theme is WATER. What are your reflections of water ? What is the color, the force behind it ? How is water part of every day life? Your pictures should tell the story of water! The purpose of the competition is to fundraise for the FAWCO Target Water Project - Tabitha Cambodia Wells for Clean Water. The photos selected will be exhibited at the FAWCO Conference in Dublin, March 2012 and published in a photobook to be sold worldwide. This photo competition is open to all FAWCO members. GUIDELINES
1. While this “Water” Photo Competition was originally open to members of the Region 1 clubs and their friends and family, it has now been opened to
ALL FAWCO club members.
2. All applicants must be 18 yrs. of age by September 30, 2011.
3. The Application Fee is $15, and must be in the form of a check equaling 15
American Dollars, made payable to: Eileen Green. The reference on the check
should be: WP. The application fee of $15 is the same for one photo or four photos.
4. You may enter up to 4 photos in this competition. Two quality glossy prints of each
photo (8x10in) are needed; one for a possible exhibit and the other for editor’s use.
5. Specific Guidelines for Photos:
Format: Either Landscape or Portrait
Finish: Glossy
DPI Resolution: 300
Color or Black and White
Measurement 8” by 10”
JPGs - Send to: JPGs are needed for all pictures!
6. The Application and Waiver Forms must be filled out clearly in black ink and
Signed & Dated. Make sure that these forms are legible and complete. We cannot submit pictures without these forms.
7. Check your Mailing Parcel - It should contain the following:
Two prints of your final picture(s)
Signed Waiver Form
Completed Application Form
Check for $15 (Dollars) - made payable to “Eileen Green”
Sturdy Envelope
