The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by all 193 Member States of the United Nations in September 2015. The goals are ambitious (ending poverty world wide), and comprehensive (including people, planet, prosperity, peace and partnership). The more people who know about and support the goals, the more likely countries are to achieve them.
