The United Nations CSW69 was just as intense as CSW68, but the stakes were and are so much higher. It didn’t have to be said, IT COULD BE FELT.

While some governments are leaning towards isolationism, it’s clear – the world is small. We truly are all in this together – whether that’s getting to the root cause(s) of gender-based violence, women’s rights (to own property, to speak in public, to healthcare, etc.), climate change (however fast or slow you think it’s going – it IS affecting the planet), or any other of mankind’s ills.

I was honored to be a delegate alongside dear friends and colleagues from FAWCO and look forward to sharing my insights from my time at the UN.
