FAWCO is proud to be a non-governmental organization with special consultative status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council, a status supported by the work of our Task Forces on global issues.

FAWCO's Resolutions and Recommendations for 2015 - 2017 establishes our commitment to improve the lives of women and girls worldwide, especially in the areas of education, the environment, health and human rights. Therefore, our Global Issues Task Forces focus on these four issues.

The Global Issues Task Forces serve as a resource for our members. As you read the information in these pages, you might decide to get involved in one of the Task Forces yourself. Join our team; pursue your passions.

FAWCO Youth Ambassador

The FAWCO Youth Ambassador program is for teens taking a gap year between high school and college. High school graduates often spend a year exploring the world, discovering themselves along the way. The FAWCO global family is in a unique position to support members’ children in this endeavor. The FYA program offers our young adults a chance to experience new cultures, learn about the world, and do hands-on volunteer work while contributing to our member clubs.  For more information, contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
