FAWCO has nearly 50 published authors amongst its clubs. They write in all genres and for all ages. Scroll through our Books by Members web page to find a brief summary for each book and the link on where to purchase it.
If you have a published book that you would like to share with others, contact and we will upload it to our list. This is a free benefit for FAWCO members.
Every book club would love to have the opportunity to meet the authors of their selection, to hear first hand about their inspirations, their writing process and what they learned from their own work. This may be possible! Contact
One of a writer’s greatest challenges is getting honest and constructive feedback, especially for a completed and edited work that you are not sure is ready to submit to a publisher. This is when the beta reader comes into the picture. The beta reader reads the finished book and gives the author an overall critique, addressing such questions as: does the story flow, are there inconsistencies or repetitions, is it engaging and believable, are the characters compelling? A beta reader doesn't need to be a writer herself or a specialist in the genre. The main qualification is a passion for good literature and a commitment to providing serious, but loving advice.
The LioL team would like to help out our writers by organizing a group of beta readers. If you are interested, either as a reader or a writer, email to .
