From My-Linh Kunst, AWC Berlin

I just came back from AAWE's 50th Anniversary celebration this week in Paris. What a wonderful evening it was ! Susan Tolson, wife of US Ambassador to France gave opening remarks, then Phyllis Michaux, one of the founding members, and club president Wendy Leyland spoke eloquently about the club's history. As FAWCO president, I appreciated being part of the celebration, meeting many of the AAWE members, and hearing about the club's accomplishments. AAWE's joined FAWCO right at its founding and we appreciate the contributions the Club continues to make: 3 FAWCO presidents, US Liaison Lucy Laederich, Citizenship Chair Kathleen de Carbuccia, Forum editors Kristina Didouan and Missy Leiby, 15 Education Award winners and many more valued FAWCO volunteers all come from this very active member club.
