Registered but no ballot? Do a write-in now!
October 21st was 2 weeks from Election Day in the United States. If you are a registered overseas voter, your ballot should have reached you by then. If it did and you have not returned it, vote it carefully, following all the instructions included. If you need to return it by post, registered mail is recommended. If your ballot did not reach you, go to the FAWCO website (https://fawco.overseasvotefoundation.org/vote/home.htm), and fill out and send in a Federal Write-in Absentee Ballot (FWAB). If your proper ballot arrives after this, vote and return it, too. Your local election official will decide which one to count.
Act now – make sure your voice is heard in the 2014 elections. Voter turnout for so-called mid-term elections is usually lower than that for so-called Presidential elections, so this is overseas voters’ chance to speak louder than usual – don’t miss it!
