    10 October 2002

The House of Representatives passed the "Help America Vote Act of 2002" at 10:30 p.m. EST on Thursday, October 10 by a vote of 357 to 48.

In its unanimous agreement to the Conference report, the House put its stamp on the Conference Committee's language which resolved all earlier differences between the House and Senate versions of the important election reform legislation.
